About This Blogue

 Some Facts About This Blogue

(Using Bullet Points Because Some People Need Their Food Chewed for Them)

  • This blogue is for me, not for you.
  • This blogue is about popular music, mostly from the USA (because they have the best stuff), the UK (because I'm from there) and Brazil (because I live here).
  • However, music from other countries will appear from time to time.
  • I call it a blogue instead of a blog because that's Brazilian Portuguese for blog and also because there is probably already a blog called Dave's Music Blog somewhere on the internet.
  • Don't read that one, though. This one is better.
  • The first post on this blogue will be about the best albums of 2020.
  • The second post on this blogue will be about the best songs of 2020.
  • These posts will appear in January 2021 because I like the year to finish before I form an opinion on it.
  • No, that's not what most people do and no, that's not when that kind of list will be trending. I don't care, because:
    • This blogue is for me, not for you.
    • This blogue is not interested in popularity.
    • This blogue is my hobby, not my job.
    • I would prefer to write a blogue I like and be the only reader than churn out a bunch of processed crap for a baying mob of idiots.
  • Posts thereafter will be about new music. I love old music, but that's not what this blogue is about.
  • This blogue is using a basic theme on Blogger because I don't really give a toss what it looks like.
  • Good writing is not guaranteed in this blogue; a complete lack of interest in presentation and web development is, however, a certainty.
  • This blogue has no guaranteed output level.
  • I reserve the right to stop writing this blogue at the drop of a hat.
  • If you wish to make racist, homophobic, sexist, transphobic, ablist or otherwise depressing and discriminatory comments in this blogue, I urge you to instead consider decapitating yourself.
  • If I think your favourite band is shit, I have very wide and all-embracing music taste, so your favourite band is probably Blink-182, in which case get the fuck out of my blogue.
